Regina Lyubovnaya is a graduate of the Moscow School of Arts where her young talent was nurtured by her parents and Soviet teachers. She left her homeland to learn from the masters in Italy and the United States. Lyubovnaya’s education includes the Moscow Institute of Arts and Crafts in Russia and the Florence Academy of Art in Italy. She is also a graduate from Loyola Marymount University and Art Center College of Design. The essence of her paintings lies in her ability to capture light. Regina’s art has a traditional painterly feel found in the old masters of Europe. Her timeless paintings of flowers, still lifes and portraits are sought after by collectors worldwide. These collectors often remark that they get more compliments on a Regina painting displayed in their home than their other works including Chagall and Picasso!
