There are three rules most important when you’re buying a piece of art.
Pretty simple rules to go by. But we can break this down a little further.
Art is something that we get enjoyment from. It’s not always a justifiable purchase. Art should tigger all of our senses. The old philosophers used to say a man without art in his home, is a man without soul.
Art is personal, it does not have to match the furniture or the Decor of the home. Art is an extension of our personality. We all have different tastes, that’s what makes fine art so interesting, whether it’s traditional or contemporary.

Angela Mia is a figurative bronze sculptor known for exalting the human spirit through expressive faces and natural body movement. Her greatest inspiration comes from the individuality of her children. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Clarion University of Pennsylvania and completed post-graduate studies at the University of Madrid, Spain. She is an elected Fellow of the National Sculpture Society, a Master Signature member of American Women Artists, and a Living Master named by the Art Renewal Center (ARC). Angela has received numerous awards, including Best in Show, two Awards of Excellence, Best 3D Work from AWA, and The Purchase Award by the ARC Museum. Her sculptures are displayed in universities, hospitals, parks, and plazas across the USA and are part of private collections worldwide.
In addition to her artistic career, Angela cofounded and is president of FLITE to Freedom, a Dallas-based nonprofit that brings together artists and art lovers to support enslaved and marginalized individuals.
Angela's work is centered on freedom of spirit, aiming to uplift and inspire love and joy in those who view her sculptures. Her process involves a personal connection to her experiences, with each piece beginning as an exploration of light and shadow over form. Angela strives to evoke emotions through details that reflect the complexity of human life, using her work to express deep emotional resonance. She sees her sculptures as exercises in personal growth, both for herself and her viewers.
Wendy Norton's fine art is catching the eye of people of all ages and backgrounds. Her art isn't just beautiful to look at, it speaks to you, and collectors around the globe are taking notice. They identify with her, and are inspired by her work. When you see a Wendy Norton painting you know there is more to it than just paint and canvas. Wendy Norton's paintings have a purpose behind them.
When Wendy was asked recently why she paints she replied "I paint because I have to. I feel it is my true calling and I want to share it with the world. I believe that art has the ability to awaken the soul. It can be healing, it can stir emotions, and it can uplift one's spirit. I believe that art is meant to tap into something deep within. It should enlighten you and make you "feel". Fine art is timeless. It is not meant to match your pillows or couches, or color swatches that are trending for the year. A piece of fine art will speak to you. It will take you to a place where you can lose yourself and dream. That is what I strive to accomplish in every piece that I paint.

Laura Whalen has been painting since she was 12-years-old. She pursued her passion working at a local painting studio washing brushes in exchange for free art lessons. Just a year later, at age 13 she was recognized by Let's Create Art and started working as an instructor at the studio. For the next 5 years, she would ride her bike to the studio after school, working along side known artists Clark Prosperi, Victoria Gomez Mayol, Natalia Zezyanova, and others.
She continued to share her love for painting throughout college working as a painting party instructor. She is a firm believer that everyone has the spirit of creativity waiting to be awoken inside them. It just takes a little bravery and a lot of great music to pick up a brush and express yourself. "The greatest joy is seeing a new artist light up when they accomplish a painting they never dreamed they could."
After graduating with her Bachelor's in Digital Media & Design from FGCU, Laura moved to Fort Lauderdale and was discovered by Bellagio International Gallery. With the support and encouragement of this renown gallery, Laura has become a featured artist with her vivid and colorful style. If you're fortunate enough, you may run into this new talent painting live at the gallery.
Meet bronze sculpture artist Nano Lopez. Look closely at Nano Lopez's sculptures and you will discover the bright colors of a Colombian market place, animals precariously laden with pots, fruits, vegetables, birds, bees, geckos, Pre-Colombian and contemporary artifacts. Look closer still and discover a deep respect for life, clearly observed, where everything, even a mischievous goat balanced on a pile of cast away tires is amazing. Nano Lopez is an artist to watch.
Nano Lopez is an artist gifted with the rare ability to see the world as a child sees it, with exploration, wonder, and creativity. He is deeply fascinated by the sometimes troubling mysteries of life and its inherent struggles.
In his artistic process, Nano integrates organic textures and synthetic, human made objects into his bronzes to create pieces of art that reflect the same depth and richness he sees in the world around him. Although colorful and whimsical, Nano’s work is anything but child’s play and invites careful, sustained viewing. The rich and intricate textures and bright colors are subtlety evocative of his native Colombia and of other Latin art, but his depth of understanding and free associations transcend culture and time. They describe a world beyond the borders of ordinary maps where an unfettered imagination allow nature, science, folklore and modern industrialism to exist seamlessly together.
His work invites us to look at the world more carefully and discover for ourselves the rich interconnections of life. It reminds us that the miracle of life exists at all levels, from the patterns on a leaf to the profound mysteries of the universe.
Born in Cleveland, Stephen Muldoon comes from a family of artists. Largely self-taught, he has traveled extensively in Europe, where he was influenced by the Renaissance, and in Central America.
Despite long experience working in multi-media, Muldoon's first love is painting in oil on Metal copper and Aluminum / mixed media.
His range from amazing still-life to landscapes and ocean views are spectacle. He has been inspired by the Florida coastline to create breathtaking studies of the sea, sunsets and landscapes.
Filled with light and life, Muldoon’s canvases reflect virtually every human emotion — as well as his own boundless enthusiasm for his art.
Signature Style: Whimsical Surrealism & Fantasy filled with intense detail & light-hearted sarcasm.
Artistic Statement: While attending school in Italy, I was inspired by the old Renaissance masters who were able to carve the human form with perfect detail and emotional depth. This style initially charged my interest to begin ceramic sculpting in 2010. I wanted to capture hidden feelings and express people in their most private state, both mentally and physically in keeping with a classical style.
Come and enjoy the fabulous works of Dr. Seuss. He is one of the most notable artist of the 20th century.
Author, illustrator, cartoonist, Academy award winner. Still the number one seller of children's books.
Keep posted for events coming in January from: Paul. B lotz, Dianne Ahrens, Stephen Muldoon and Philip Anthony.
